The server address is play.SurvivalRealm.com. Java Edition players use the default port (25565). Bedrock Edition players must set the port to 8033. For full setup instructions on every platform, visit our How to Join page.
Yes. Survival Realm is a true crossplay server. Players on Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (Windows, mobile, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch) all connect to the same world and can play together seamlessly.
Console versions of Minecraft (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch) do not have a native "Add Server" option. You'll need to change your console's DNS settings to use BedrockConnect, which provides access to a custom server list.
Important: BedrockConnect does not remove platform multiplayer requirements. You still need:
- Xbox: Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate
- PlayStation: PlayStation Plus
- Nintendo Switch: Nintendo Switch Online
Full step-by-step instructions are available on our How to Join page.
Yes. There is one persistent world shared by all players regardless of platform. Builds, items, and progress are visible to everyone. Java and Bedrock players can interact, trade, and collaborate as if playing the same version.
Every new player receives a one-time Starter Kit containing a full set of leather armor, stone tools (sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe), 16 bread, 16 oak logs, 32 cobblestone, 16 torches, a red bed, a crafting table, a furnace, a chest, a map, a boat, a campfire, a water bucket, and 8 charcoal. For the full breakdown, visit the Documentation page.
The live world map is available on our Live Map page. It's powered by Squaremap and shows terrain, builds, and player activity in real time. You can also open it in a new tab for a fullscreen view.
No. Survival Realm does not offer any gameplay advantages for purchase. There are no paid ranks, items, or abilities that affect survival gameplay. Any donations or perks that may exist in the future will be purely cosmetic.
We recommend using the latest stable release of Minecraft for your platform. The server is configured to support recent versions of both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. If you have connection issues, ensure your game is fully updated.
No. Survival Realm is EULA compliant and requires a legitimate Minecraft account. The server verifies online account status through Mojang's authentication service, so cracked or illegitimate versions cannot connect.
We use a dedicated port (8033) for Bedrock Edition connections to ensure the best possible stability and compatibility for our crossplay system. The default port (19132) is not used for this server, so please make sure to update your server settings accordingly.
PvP is disabled inside land claims — your claim acts as a safe zone where other players cannot attack or kill you. In the wilderness (unclaimed land), PvP is enabled, so be cautious when exploring or traveling outside your claim.
Yes. You can use /home to teleport to your bed spawn, /spawn to
teleport to a random wilderness location, and /tpa [player] to request a
teleport to another player. There are also /tpahere, /tpaccept,
and /tpdeny commands. For full details, see the Documentation page.
Client-side mods that don't give unfair advantages — such as minimaps, shaders, or performance-enhancing mods like Sodium/Optifine — are generally allowed. However, any mod that provides an unfair advantage (x-ray, auto-clickers, hacked clients, etc.) is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban. Our anti-cheat system (GrimAC) actively detects and blocks cheating behavior.
The world is designed to be long-term and persistent. We do not perform scheduled resets. In rare cases, such as major game updates that fundamentally change world generation, a reset may be considered — but this would be announced well in advance and only after community discussion.
Our rules focus on fairness, respect, and protecting the shared world. No cheating, no griefing, no harassment. Full details — including our 8 core community guidelines, anti-cheat system (GrimAC), and three-tier enforcement policy — are available on the Rules page.
You can protect your builds using the chunk-based Land Claiming system. Stand in the chunk
you want to claim and type /claim create. To expand into adjacent chunks, walk
to them and type /claim expand. Claims protect your blocks, chests,
interactions, and even prevent PvP and explosions inside your territory. For a full guide,
visit the Land Claims
page.
Yes. You can trust other players to build and use containers in your claim using the command
/claim trust [playername]. Trust applies to the entire settlement (Claim ID).
To remove access, use /claim untrust [playername].
Claim blocks are earned passively while you actively play (AFK time does not count). You
receive 1 Claim Block
per hour of active playtime and 1 Base Claim (settlement slot) per 6 hours.
You can check
your current balance with the command /claim blocks.
Yes. Claims are automatically removed after 14 days of continuous inactivity. Simply logging into the server resets the timer — you don't need to visit your claims. If a claim expires, your Claim Blocks are refunded to your account so you can resettle when you return. For more details, visit the Land Claims page.
In addition to land claims, the server runs CoreProtect, which logs every block placed, broken, or interacted with. If something goes wrong, staff can investigate exactly who did what and instantly roll back any damage. On top of that, stealth backups run every hour with zero downtime, and a full world backup runs every 24 hours (with only 5–10 minutes of downtime). Your builds have three layers of protection. Learn more on the Server Info page.
Stealth backups run every hour in the background with zero downtime. A full world backup runs every 24 hours — the server briefly goes offline for 5–10 minutes, then restarts automatically. Between backups, CoreProtect logs every block change for instant rollback if needed.
First, run /claim info to confirm you are standing in your claim. Ensure the
chunk isn't owned by another Claim ID. If you are in the wilderness, check if you are trying
to build too close to another claim.
Auto-expand only works if the target chunk is adjacent to exactly one of your existing claim IDs. If the target chunk touches two separate settlements, expansion is blocked to prevent merging them. Also, ensure you have enough Claim Blocks.
You must be actively playing to earn blocks. AFK players (idling) do not accrue time. You earn 1 Claim Block per hour of active play.
Survival Realm maintains a zero-tolerance policy for cheating and intentional griefing. Bans issued by our anti-cheat system (GrimAC) or for severe rule violations are final and cannot be appealed. We prohibit hacked clients, x-ray, and exploits to ensure fair play for everyone.
